So Much To Be Thankful For

Do you know what's so awesome about this picture of Marie's name? It's the three words above her name that's so amazing! The nursing staff moved her into the "Rehab Nursing Unit"!!! Marie's been here a little over a week and it's remarkable how much she's progressing every day. From the ICU to the rehab floor is God's miracle manifested!
Visiting Marie is like a breath of fresh air! Each and every time we see her, our hearts just grow ever so thankful for the wonderful improvements she is able to accomplish with the help of God and her loving mom right by her side. She now has her very own room where she can sleep soundly and have some privacy. God is so gracious even in the smallest things. Please come and visit Marie when you have a chance. You will leave her room with an unexplainable joy! She is a beautiful blessing to behold.
Ashley and Michelle were excited to see Marie and that she had her very own room! They immediately thought of having a "sleep over" with her! When they mentioned this to Marie, she immediately lit up and gave them the biggest smile ever! That alone was enough to make me smile the whole entire week. She was also able to say clearly "Hi!" and "I love you!" to Ashley and Michelle. We were so excited and thankful that she was getting so much better with her physical therapy.
Some day, Marie will be able to walk again and step on crunchy fall leaves underneath a slumbering tree. It saddens me a little that she will miss this beautiful autumn season when everything is full bloom of warm colors. But God is so faithful in keeping his promises. So while you have a chance to enjoy the beautiful colors of autumn and hear the crisp of the crunchy leaves as you playfully step on them...THANK GOD that you are able to enjoy such simple pleasures from Him. For there are those who can only see all this beauty from a hospital window or not even be aware that there is such.

WE HAVE SO MUCH TO BE THANKFUL FOR.
