"Makapu'u Lighthouse"
This famous landmark on Oahu was built in 1909. It's not very tall compared to the others, but it has been a shining beacon for many years. I can just imagine the many who have casted their eyes upon this lighthouse during a terrible storm and by seeing the light, have given them hope that the shore is close. Or the lost ships that have been wondering endlessly upon the sea, only to find their way back home safely because of the light that has guided them. It may be small, but its light shines ever so brightly!
Marie has been this beacon of light to all of us. Each miracle God performs each day as she lays on her hospital bed, has been a light of hope! She may only be a little over 5 feet tall, but her light shines all over the world! Her life now has been that lighthouse for those who are experiencing terrible storms of trials in their lives. God is using her to bring back hope to those who had no hope and to those living in darkness. Each miracle of hope that God is performing in Marie's life has been a path of light back to HIM. Those who have been searching for answers have been enlightened by the truths of God's word. Lost souls that have been in darkness have now found the Light of the world. Not only has God been performing miracles in Marie's life, but He is also performing wonderful miracles in each one of us.
